Balbas Pusa - Cat's Whiskers

Balbas Pusa or Cat's Whiskers is used as a folkloric medicine for the treatment of various ailments such liver and bladder problems, kidney stones, urinary tract infection, diabetes, gout, arthritis and other ailments. The leaves are boiled with a few cups of water and are consumed as tea.

Balbas pusa is a herbaceous perennial plant which is easily grown in terracotta pots or re-used plastic containers and can be propagated by either sexual (seeds) or asexual (cuttings).
