I took this picture of my neighbor's small garden showcasing a way to plant vegetable in a limited space.

These alugbati were planted alongside an ornamental plant.

There is a filipino riddle of this vegetable, that goes something like this: inalog ko muna bago ko binati (i shaked first before i greeted) - answer: alugbati
